LSU centennial records, 1959-1960.

The LSU Centennial Records contain printed items, photographs, and memorabilia pertaining to the activities celebrating LSU's centennial in 1959-1960. Printed items include programs for the dedication of the new library, a symposium by the College of Education on the history of public education in Louisiana, and a Centennial Honors Day Convocation. Also included are pamphlets and booklets on University history, photographs of historic cadet uniforms and a groundbreaking ceremony at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, and memorabilia such as two 1960 Louisiana automobile license plates and two centennial flags.

Arthur Taylor Prescott (1863-1942) graduated from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La., in 1884.
